Free Shout! Concert at the Heritage Park Amphitheater tomorrow!

Shout3

Shout! a Beatles tribute band will perform a FREE concert at the Heritage Park amphitheater tomorrow, July 12th at 7PM.

“SHOUT” creates a true Beatles ambience in sound and appearance, with  authentically styled, tailored suits as well as vintage instruments from several Beatles eras.  The concert will feature a span of early songs from first releases such as “I Want to Hold Your Hand” and “I Saw Her Standing There,” to later tunes such as “Penny Lane,” “Paperback Writer” and, of course, “Hey Jude.”  Audiences have raved, “We couldn’t believe how good they were, with all the sounds and moves of the Beatles down pat.” Band members have been careful to acquire the correct guitars, amps, and drums to closely match the originals.  (John) Greg Gersabeck’s on-stage collection includes a Vox AC-30 amp, a black Rickenbacker 325 guitar, a Gibson J-160E acoustic, and an Epiphone Casino.  (Paul) John Manier uses a Hofner bass, a Rickenbacker 4001, and a Vox Bassman amp.  (George) Jim Wilcox plays a Gretsch Country Gentleman, Rickenbacker 360-12, and Fender Rosewood Telecaster guitar, and uses a Vox AD 120VT amp. The choice for drummer (Ringo) Kevin Kogut is a 1958 Ludwig Black Pearl set. The concert series continues throughout the summer on Thursday evenings.
