The new Scion FR-S has gone on sale nationally to meet a much awaited crowd of car enthusiasts. The FR-S starts at $24,000, and is making a splash as the frontier sports car that is both affordable and stylish.
The FR-S, the sports car that could save Scion, officially went on sale nationwide today.
Scion is counting on strong sales of the car, co-developed with Subaru, right out of the gate.
"The incredibly positive buzz surrounding the FR-S has generated an impressive list of hand-raisers and pre-sold orders," said Scion Vice President Jack Hollis. "We can't wait for performance driving enthusiasts to get into the FR-S because we know that they are going to love it."
At $24,200 before $730 in destination charges for the six-speed manual, the FR-S could compete with sports cars priced a lot closer to $30,000 or above. The six-speed automatic version starts at $25,300.Click to Read More
